1. Such love that brought the Savior down
\nThat He would come and dwell
\nWith sinners whom He came to save
\nFrom certain death and hell,

\nOur need was great, our sin had caused
\nA deep and deadly rift,
\nWhich only God could reconcile
\nWith His most precious gift,

2. It was God’s plan to send His Son,
\nA gift of love and grace,
\nTo save a people for Himself
\nOut from our dying race,

\nAnd thus to die Himself, He came
\nTo suffer in our stead,

3. Let us rejoice this Christmas Day
