My favorite book apart from the Bible is The Pilgrim\u2019s Progress<\/em> by John Bunyan. Often on this blog I post excerpts from Bunyan\u2019s book<\/a> along with my commentary A Guide to John Bunyan\u2019s The Pilgrim\u2019s Progress<\/em>.<\/a> The book is a beloved allegory about coming to faith in Jesus and living the Christian life. It traces the journey of Christian as he flees from the City of Destruction and follows the way to the Celestial City. It is a book I would highly recommend to young and old alike.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m delighted to see that an effort is underway to create a feature length CGI animated film of The Pilgrim\u2019s Progress<\/em>. The animation is very well done and production is underway. You can learn more about the project on Kickstarter<\/a>. I encourage you to support the film. Not only will your participation help introduce many to a wonderful story rich with biblical insights, it will also provide you a behind-the-scenes look at how such a film is made.<\/p>\n
