A prayer and an encouragement for those who faithfully study and preach God\u2019s Word week by week, diligently mining its treasures that we might marvel at truth in all its facets.<\/p>\n

Vast the Riches of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore I love your commandments<\/em>
\nabove gold, above fine gold.\u201d <\/em>
\n(Psalm 119:127)<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Vast the riches of God\u2019s Word,
\nTruth that shines as purest gold.
\nSearch its treasures, venture deep,
\nAll its splendor to behold!<\/p>\n

2. Grant us hearts that love the Word,
\nOpen ears that we might hear,
\nHelp Your servant, Lord, we pray,
\nMake the message plain and clear.<\/p>\n

3. Keep our thoughts from wandering
\nAs Your Word is preached today,
\nAnchor us in truth applied
\nThat we might not fall or stray.<\/p>\n

4. Preach the Word, we need to hear!
\nDraw out wealth as from a mine.
\nShow each gem that we might see
\nTruth in all its facets shine.<\/p>\n

5. Take us to each verse and line,
\nOpen up the Word and show
\nAll the riches we can find;
\nHelp us more of Christ to know.<\/p>\n

6. May God\u2019s Word in brilliance shine
\nLight on all we do and say.
\nMay it be our great delight
